BISMARCK–State lawmakers heard testimony today on a bill that would temporarily prohibit tuition increases at North Dakota’s public colleges.
Student representatives from the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University had opposing stances on the bill. While UND favors the idea, the NDSU representative spoke against it.
The committee did not act on the bill today. You can find the video story from today’s hearing here, including testimony from the UND and NDSU students.Â
