Here’s a look ahead at some of the things coming up next week in the North Dakota Legislature:

MONDAY

08:00 AM   HCR 3014 Relating to freedom of choice in health care.   08:00 AM   HCR 3016 To repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.   08:00 AM   HCR 3017 To repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

09:00 AM   HB 1353 Relating to the tobacco prevention and control program and water development trust fund expenditures; to provide an appropriation; and to provide for a transfer.

09:00 AM   HB 1362 Relating to oil and gas impact loans from the legacy fund and to provide for repayment; and to provide an effective date.

09:00 AM   HB 1450 A bill relating to the definition of human being and to certain medical procedures.
10:00 AM   HB 1297 A bill relating to an abortion report form, abortion inducing drugs, regulation of abortion and to provide a penalty and a report.

TUESDAY

08:30 AM   SB 2333 Relating to a sales and use tax exemption for clothing

09:00 AM   SB 2367 Relating to a waiting period for divorce and to mandatory marital counseling.

09:00 AM   SB 2331 Relating to an income tax credit for employment of individuals with disabilities
       
09:00 AM   SB 2316 relating to the provision of alternative schools and alternative school programs to students in grades six through twelve; to provide an effective date; and to declare an emergency.

  1. I Aaron Iten and my wife have had three successful home births. Two with a midwife present and one without. The one without was due to the fact that we were unable to locate a midwife. The last home birth was 01/23/11 and a midwife was present. We felt much safer with the midwife present because of her knowledge and care. Please vote NO! to Senate Bill#2315 Thank You.
