A bill that would have banned alcohol at college sporting events died in the North Dakota House.

Thirteen lawmakers voted in favor of the ban, with 78 against and 3 absent.

In other news, a bill to bring back the sale of bottle rockets also failed in the House. The final vote was 39 in favor, 52 against and 3 absent.
