Nominate older North Dakotans making a difference

This Thanksgiving, we’re looking to give thanks to the older residents of North Dakota who make a difference in the state.

We’re looking to feature eight North Dakotans age 80 and older who work to make their communities a better place in some way.

And we need your help.

Nominees may be from anywhere in North Dakota. To nominate someone, visit and fill out the online nomination form.

Nominations may also be mailed to Teri Finneman c/o Forum Communications, State Capitol Press Room, Bismarck, N.D. 58505.

Mailed nominations must include your name, your city and state, how to reach you, the name of the nominee, the nominee’s city, how to reach the nominee and the age of the nominee.

The nomination must include why the nominee should be considered. Please include all pertinent information as to the nominee’s employment, volunteerism, community involvement, etc.

The deadline to submit nominations is Oct. 21.
